The Morehead Family Letter Collection (1866-1966) consists of three boxes of corrospondances to and from the Chico, California's Morehead family. The collection includes miscellaneous letters; letters from two incarcerated Japanese-American families in Tule Lake; divorce paperwork; letters from Europe during World War I; and family vacation photographs.

The collection contains deeds, legal materials, bills, receipts and account books pertaining to and created by the Morehead Ranch, company and family while in operation and residing within Butte County and Chico. Other materials include notebooks, diaries and biographical information related to the family.
